Sarah Anderson, Owner and Lead Teacher

Sarah is the Owner and Lead Teacher of Seedpod Montessori.  Originally, Sarah co-created Seedpod as a homeschool during Covid.  She has spent the last five years leading large Montessori classrooms in two local, well-established Montessori schools and brings a wealth of experience, warmth, compassion, patience, and skill to her work with children and families.  She also has 80+ hours of training in inclusive education practices in Montessori environments. In addition to five years serving as Lead Guide, Sarah has spent ten years actively volunteering and working in a variety of roles in the Montessori community, including Board Member, at various Montessori schools while staying home with her children.  Sarah is extremely excited to return to a smaller, more intimate class size in her home, to share her passion and love for Montessori education with young families, and to support children in their development of independence, confidence, and a love of learning.  Sarah holds a B.S. in Architecture from University of Virginia, AMI Primary Diploma from Montessori Northwest, and M.Ed in Montessori Studies from Loyola University.  In her free time, Sarah enjoys soaking up sunshine, laughing and joking with her children, and all the PNW outdoor things. She also dabbles in playing the ukelele but prefers the ever-forgiving nature of a preschool audience.
